Dirty Loops

Founded in 2008 by three friends, Aron Mellergård, Jonah Nilsson and Henrik Linder, as an experiment to try things beyond what was considered allowed in normal musical sessions. After two years of slightly altering popular tunes the band decided to upload a cover version of Lady Gaga’s ”Just Dance” on YouTube in order to, perhaps, get a gig or two. More cover videos were released and gained a lot of momentum, which eventually led to a record deal working with Andreas Carlsson and David Foster.

The first album "Loopified" was released in 2014, containing mostly original songs. Upon its release Dirty Loops embarked on a world tour as a headline act and as support for Maroon 5.

According to Wikipedia the band formed a Dream Theater tribute band in 2018, none of the band members have any recollection of this, but agrees that it would have been fun if it was true.

In 2021 the album "Phoenix" was released and in 2022 Dirty Loops collaborated with Cory Wong and released their co-album "Turbo".

As of 2023 Dirty Loops is heading out for a tour and are currently working on their next album!

Taylor Kelly

Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Taylor Kelly is now a fixture in the vibrant Philadelphia music scene further honing her introspective take on jazz, soul, and funk. She combines her smooth, powerful, technically-informed voice with a full horn section, addictive hip hop and electronic beats, and complex arrangements she writes herself with help from long-time collaborator and trombonist Mike Rilli. Both a vocalist and trumpet player, her sound is a dynamic blend of several established genres: she melds the improvisational looseness of jazz, the rhythmic earworms of funk, and the moving resonance of soul to carve out a niche all her own. Kelly names Stevie Wonder, Chet Baker, Roy Hargrove, Art Farmer, and Erykah Badu as influences, integrating strong melodic contour and intricate harmonies into lyrically personal and sonically anthemic tracks.

Kelly is a Berklee College of Music graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Music. Along with her band, she has released four albums and performed hundreds of live shows, sharing the stage with Moonchild, Becca Stevens, Monophonics, Neal Francis, Bahamadia, and Georgia Anne Muldrow. She has amassed over half a million listens for her song “California” on Spotify, and is committed to continuing this exploration of music’s ability to incite passion and self-actualization with her EP,  All I Need, which released in February of 2022.
