Twiddle

Known for jaw-dropping live performances, the Vermont quartet Twiddle have played some of the most legendary venues in the world, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Capitol Theatre, igniting festivals such as Bonnaroo and Electric Forest along the way in addition to launching and headlining their own annual multi-day event, Tumble Down Festival.

Propelled by constant evolution in its 18 years touring, the band - Mihali Savoulidis [vocals, guitar], Ryan Dempsey [keys, organ, synth], Adrian Tramontano [drums], and Zdenek Gubb [bass] - have created an immersive and creative community around their music, while consistently rebirthing their sound. Now leaning more heavily on enigmatically stoic songwriting in lieu of the affably saccharine, their latest effort - 2022’s Every Last Leaf - treated longtime listeners to an elevated presentation of Twiddle’s trademark sound, delicately orbiting the worlds of funk, jazz, rock, reggae, and bluegrass.

Their powerful catalog is highlighted by the 2017 double-disc epic Plump (Chapters 1 & 2), and 2011’s Somewhere on the Mountain, gathering over 100 million streams and counting. In addition to hundreds of live show recordings, each with a unique setlist and collection of improvisational jams, Twiddle’s discography is an endless source of creativity, inspiration and discovery.

Announced in late 2022, the band will begin an indefinite hiatus after their final shows - Frendsgiving at the Capitol Theatre on November 24-26, 2023 - as the individual members explore their individual creative pursuits and spend more time with their families. Twiddle’s music and mission, however, will continue to live on in the hearts of every frend who ever embraced the movement that captured so many purple & green hearts across the country.
