Artist Info

The Slip

Formed in Boston in 1995, The Slip has earned a legacy as one of the most daring and dynamic improvisational rock trios to come out of the Northeast. With Brothers Brad and Andrew Barr (guitar and drums) and bassist Marc Friedman, the band Is known for its telepathic and hyperkinetic approach to creating living, breathing moments on stage. Despite the fact that Slip sightings have become increasingly rare over the last decade, they have never stopped making music together.

John Kimock

John Morgan Kimock is Drummer, Composer, and Producer residing in Brooklyn NY. He grew up in Northern California performing at a young age with his father Steve Kimock (Bob Weir, Bruce Hornsby). He has been lucky enough to perform with Mike Gordon, Steve Kimock, Oteil Burbridge, George Porter Jr, Robert Walter's 20th Congress, Marco Benevento, Leif Vollebekk, Ryan Montbleau, Kat Wright, Madaila, and more.

His debut record “Hikikomori” is out now on Astrology Days Records.
