Dogfish Head is proud to present this special live show by psych-funk trailblazers, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. Designated the Official Beer of Record Store Day for eight consecutive years, Dogfish Head celebrates this year's holiday, with the release of a new, music-themed beer, Catchy Chorus. Brewed in collaboration with Record Store Day, an organization dedicated to showcasing the culture of independently owned record stores, Catchy Chorus is a double dry-hopped double IPA inspired by the four "magic chords" (E, B, C#m & A) that make up many of the world's most popular melodies. Track down the limited edition, symphonic sipper bursting with citrusy and tropical aromas at the bar during the show! But that's not all! The first 20 fans to arrive at the Pigeons show and visit the Dogfish Head pop-up will receive a copy of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong's new Record Store Day vinyl signed by the band and Dogfish Head's Sam Calagione and the band themselves. The record, which officially drops on Saturday, April 22, features a live recording of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong's 2022 Record Store Day show at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, a performance sponsored by Dogfish Head.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong

Hailed as “musical explorers” by Rolling Stone, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong first took flight roughly a decade ago at the University of Maryland, and the pysch-funk trailblazers have since gone on to play more than a thousand shows across 44 states. In just the past two years alone, the band has co-billed at Red Rocks, played halftime at Madison Square Garden, performed on Adult Swim’s FishCenter Live, celebrated the tenth anniversary of their beloved music festival, Domefest, and even earned their first headlining arena show. The Baltimore quartet’s latest album, ‘Presto,’ is their most sophisticated and joyful collection to date, drawing on everything from funk to rock to electronic music as it builds off the group’s unparalleled live energy and hits new heights of emotional and technical maturity. At a time when America seems to grow more divided by the day, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong still believes in the power of music to bring people together, and ‘Presto’ is a big, bold album all about celebrating the present and sharing it with the ones we love most.

One Time Weekend

“We Groove - You Move” is the mantra of One Time Weekend - the innovative shred-funk Connecticut quartet bringing driving grooves with a melodic and progressive edge to the universe. One Time Weekend is known for their live shows - delivering a high-energy musical experience at every performance as twin lead guitarists, Adam Eytan and Zac Mulcahy shred over bassist and lead vocalist Ian D’Arcangelo’s funky bass lines and dynamic vocals while Ben “Beano” Sullivan mans the pocket holding it all down with his rhythmic energy - all of which keeps OTW Nation grooving and moving.
