Their eight members will take the stage with the traditional instruments of the Crescent City streets, blending funk and soul into a signature sound. The lineup features Derrick “Oops” Moss on bass drum, Lumar LeBlanc on snare, Alijah Jett and Marcus “Red” Hubbard on trumpet, Passport P on trombone, Erion Williams on saxophone, Manuel Perkins Jr. on sousaphone, and Paul Robertson rounding out the ensemble on trombone.

2022: THE SOUL REBELS WITH SPECIAL GUEST ROBIN THICKE

After a 2021 postponement due to the pandemic, The Soul Rebels finally joined forces with special guest Robin Thicke in 2022. The long-awaited collaboration saw the stage ignite with brass-filled renditions of Thicke’s hit singles, 'Magic' and 'Blurred Lines.'

2017: HISTORIC THREE NIGHT RESIDENCY FILLED WITH A LIST OF MUSIC ICONS AND NIGHTS OF CELEBRATION

In 2017, The Soul Rebels took over the Bowl for a historic three-night residency. The first two nights featured an elite roster of special guests that remains unmatched to this day.

Night 1: Bringing a touch of Hip Hop history to the set, they welcomed Melle Mel of 'The Message' fame and rapper Rakim, from the classic golden age duo Eric B. & Rakim.

Night 2: The night featured a legendary roster of hip-hop royalty, including A Tribe Called Quest’s Jarobi and Consequence. They were joined by Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon, as well as the iconic Queens duo Mobb Deep, featuring Prodigy and Havoc.

2023: A SOLD OUT NIGHT WITH BLACK THOUGHT

At their most recent residency at the Bowl in 2023, adding to their long history of epic collaborations, The Soul Rebels welcomed Black Thought of the Roots to the stage for a packed house.
