-1 It’s that time of year again, when the Northside Festival takes over parts of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, now going on its seventh year. The festival showcases film, art and music. So, obviously, Brooklyn Bowl is in on the act with four nights of great shows. We’ve got the legendary Afrobeat performer Femi Kuti and the Positive Force, here tomorrow night, followed by a shake-what-your-mama-gave-you Bowl Train dance party with Questlove; Friday brings the Disco Biscuits’ Marc Brownstein and Aaron Manger, Lotus’s Mike Greenfield and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead’s Tom Hamilton as jamtronica stalwarts Electron; DJ Premier performs live with a full band on Saturday night, plus Norwegian electronic duo Lemaitre will keep things moving afterward; and one-of-a-kind rapper Le1f closes out things on Sunday night. Come join the party.
