Making what they’ve labeled “drive-thru metal,” Ronald Osbourne (vocals), Slayer McCheese (guitar), Grimalice (bass) and Catburglar (drums) formed the McDonald’s-themed Black Sabbath parody band last year in probably the only place possible for such a band to rise up: Los Angeles. Playing faithful Sabbath covers with rewritten lyrics about fast food, they’ve been winning over crowds at underground shows around Southern California. But now Mac Sabbath (above, performing “Frying Pan”) are leaving town—and country—and coming to London on Thursday, 11/6. Make sure to arrive early to see the Elvis-fronted Nirvana tribute group Elvana open the show.
