Artist Info

Mezerg

Multi talented instrumentalist Mezerg is a pioneer of modern music technology and one of the most creative musicians you’re likely to come across. Hands and feet linked to his instrument, he makes electronic music from unexpected elements, with rhythms that ranged from funk to acid techno, improvising with keyboards, effects pedals and the theremin which has become emblematic of his project. Mezerg merges the electronic with the acoustic to create an impressive and unique live performance that you can’t take your eyes off. Somewhere between house music and an acoustic performance, this nightlife one-man band pays homage to both the jazz bars and the nightclubs of this world with a whirlwind of energy and irresistible sounds.

Cal Blac

Jackson Cal Smith is a songwriter, multi instrumentalist, session musician, and audio engineer from Olympia, Washington. Smith, 27, performs and releases music under the alias ‘Cal Blac’ which centers around an explosive combination of vocals, guitar, piano, and analog synthesizers. With an eclectic list of influences, his musical approach yields a loud and dramatic mix of classic genres (psychedelic rock, jazz, RnB) complemented by the hard-hitting production of modern dance music. Balancing a reverence for traditional musicianship with the novelty of modern technology, his live performances are a refreshingly hands-on brand of electronica. He currently resides in Philadelphia, recording and producing music at Spit Studio and Drowning Fish Studio.
