Artist Info

Haybaby

Brooklyn's beloved Haybaby has been screaming with their eyes closed since the release of their first full length in 2015 through Tiny Engines. The three-piece band pushes, pulls, and shares space in communication and head-bopping harmony. Self-named "sludge pop" hits all rock genres in between, showing range and complexity from unbridled rage to saccharine sweetness. The release of their second full-length album "They Get There" was deemed "triumphant" by the Fader and they are currently gestating new material as the world crumbles.

Desert Sharks

Brooklyn-based Desert Sharks are known for their heavy riffs, soaring vocals, and high-energy performances. Their highly praised 2019 debut full length album, "Baby's Gold Death Stadium", received rave reviews from outlets such as Brooklyn Vegan and AdHoc, with Vinyl District calling it "undeniably major." Bandcamp agreed, referring to the LP as "a shadowy co-mingling of forceful hooks and fuzzy guitars making [it] a proper gloom-punk affair." Often compared to female-led heavy hitters such as Veruca Salt, L7, and Sleater-Kinney, Desert Sharks bring a fresh and inspired sound to the grunge-punk genre.

In August of 2021, Desert Sharks released two popular singles: guitar-driven covers of “Voices Carry” by ‘Til Tuesday and “20th Century Boy” by T. Rex. They will be recording a highly-anticipated follow up EP this summer, with subsequent plans to tour the U.S.

Rat Motel

Rat Motel was formed in 2016 by brothers Seth and Clayton Peacock. They quickly became a staple of the Columbus, Ohio house show scene with their massive dual-cylinder live sets and catchy buzz rock songs, later opening for touring acts like the Dollyrots and the Beths. Fan favorite “Dog” is featured in the film “Poser”, to be released this summer out of the late Adam Yauch’s Oscilloscope Labs.  They have since relocated to Brooklyn, NY and in 2022 released an album in collaboration with Izzi Sleep, featuring symphonic doze pop melodies while maintaining the raw electricity of their live sets. Their new EP “The Regal Sum” is slated for release June 17th with the lead single “Shock” coming out June 3rd.

Heat Death

Heat Death are a psych-gaze band from Brooklyn; a recording project that started in a bedroom in 2018 and evolved into a full-throttle live act . After several line-up adjustments, the band settled into their current configuration - Alexandra Noland (vox, guitar) Ange Delgado (drums), Franklin Ligh (bass) Josh Meyer (guitar, production) and Robert Jensen (keys).Heat Death’s sound is hard to define. Blending a mixture of heavy downtuned riffs, siren-like vocals, and layers of swirling dark psychedelia, every song transports you to another world, familiar yet far away -  before it vanishes beneath your feet.
