The Fatties
Prominent in the 90’s NYC jam scene, The Fatties played packed headliner shows at legendary venues such as Wetlands, The Lion's Den, New Music Cafe, and AKA. A handful of shows since at venues such as Highline Ballroom and Brooklyn Bowl showed that Fatties standards like Pleasure, I-Man, Take My Chances, and Pass the Blunt still stand up, and that the band can still certainly jam with the best of them. Three hours of Fat-ness at Brooklyn Bowl with sit-ins from many area superstars seems like a dream come true for die hard fans, and will convert anyone else.
Togetherness Orchestra
A new sound for all of us to share, TOGETHERNESS ORCHESTRA was born from the imagination of NYC bassist Ray Cetta. Soulful songwriting is adorned in a kaleidoscope of strings, brass, and human voices, creating a beautiful sunlit symphony. Inspired by the sounds of the 70's, and called to action by the condition of today, TOGETHERNESS ORCHESTRA spreads a hopeful, positive message through song and music. Their debut single, "Show You The Way" features the vocal stylings of NYC staple Chauncey Yearwood, and culminates in a climatic gospel choir refrain of inclusion and love.
