Gato Loco
Gato Loco
An intense Psycho-Mambo party band, bringing fire and brass, lascivious guitars and rousing percussion, into intimate sweaty clubs and festival stages alike. Gato Loco has been bringing their unique schizoid energy from New York City around the world for years, embracing an all-encompassing sound of irreverence, rebellion, and abandon that defies place or time.

It’s comprised of an all-star group of musicians, individually having played and/or recorded with Vampire Weekend, Zola Jesus, Lauren Hill, The Violent Femmes, Dillinger Escape Plan, Wheatus, Zakir Hussain, T.S. Monk, Brazilian Girls, Slavic Soul Party, Father John Misty, to name just a few. This will be their last NYC show before they head to Europe in July.

"Perfect for the dance floor" (WNYC)
"Exotic and simultaneously urban" (Le Monde, Paris)
"Brimming with enthusiasm, like the orgasmic lovemaking between James Brown and Tito Puente." (De Volkskrant, Amsterdam)

Gato Loco’s “The Enchanted Messa” is a new interpretation of Giuseppe Verdi’s 1874 mass for the dead, the Messa de Requiem. Typically performed with a full orchestra, choir, and 4 soloists, Gato Loco has reshaped it into a realization for brass quintet (2 trumpets, french horn, trombone, tuba), saxophone, and rhythm section (guitar, bass, drums, percussion).

Inspired by the Acoma publo in New Mexico, their rendition reades like the fast-paced glare of a lost film noir soundtracki, combining Verdi’s bombastic melodies with mambos, metal, and cartoon humor. Brimming with joy and celebration, thrillingly entertaining and expansively cinematic, Gato Loco brings their typical level of irreverent enthusiasm into Verdi’s masterpiece.
Elevator Party
Elevator Party
Elevator Party is punk funk band founded by multi-instrumentalist Eric Biondo, who is best know for his trumpet playing in the Afrobeat Band Antibalas and Superhuman Happiness.

Elevator Party formed in 2016 as an experiment with the idea that everyone in the band had to be in walking distance to the rehearsal space. Since then the band continues to have a weekly rehearsal in the neighborhood of South Slope, Brooklyn. They also perform bi-monthly in New York City at places such as C'mon Everybody, Freddy's Bar, Nublu, Alphaville and many other venues.

Eric Biondo is on electrified trumpet, synthesizer, percussion and vocals. Eric brings many influences to the sound. His melodic and tonal shifts create diverse epic improvisations. Eric has performed trumpet /recorded with The Monkees, Antibalas, TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phish, Father John Misty, Passion Pit, El-p, The Rubens, Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats and most recently with Elle King on The Colbert Report.

Audrey Casey is the bands lead singer/vocal arranger and multitasking as the drummer.

Ricky Quiñones is on vocals/lefty guitar. His resume includes Fela the Broadway show, India Arie and Alicia Keys.

Jim Bertini is on Electric Bass.

All of Elevator party’s music is written by the members collectively and separately.
