The Rock and Roll Playhouse
The Rock and Roll Playhouse
The Rock and Roll Playhouse, a family concert series hosted at Brooklyn Bowl, The Capitol Theatre, Industry City, Ardmore Music Hall, The Sinclair, Thalia Music Hall, and Boulder Theater allows kids to “move, play and sing while listening to works from the classic-rock canon” (NY Times). Using the songs created by the most iconic musicians in rock history, The Rock and Roll Playhouse offers its core audience of babies and kids games, movement, and stories and an opportunity to rock out. The Rock and Roll Playhouse is an early and often first introduction to a child's lifelong journey with live music and rock and roll.

The Sounds of New Orleans for Kids with The Trombone Shorty Academy
The mission of the Trombone Shorty Foundation is to perpetuate the musical heritage of New Orleans through
music education, instruction, mentorship and performance to prepare young, underserved musicians for success in
music and in life. Currently in its fifth year, the Trombone Shorty Academy perpetuates the musical heritage of New
Orleans by teaching local high school students homegrown New Orleans music—from brass band and traditional
jazz to more modern funk and rhythm & blues styles, all of which play an integral role in the richness and depth of
New Orleans’ musical legacy.
Black Tie Brass
Black Tie Brass
Black Tie Brass is a horn-driven jazz/funk band from NYC. We combine the presence of a New Orleans brass band with the sound of a funk band to create a musically invigorating experience. Having played together for many years, the core of the group came together in 2013. Drawing from many genres such as jazz, pop, funk, R&B, and hip-hop, they created a fulfilling musical experience for performer and listener. Black Tie Brass is a versatile group that has performed with Sal "The Voice" Valentinetti, Epic Records' Nick Tangorra, American Idol's Robbie Rosen, and many more! Black Tie Brass is currently working on their 2nd studio album so stay tuned!
