The World / Inferno Friendship Society
The World / Inferno Friendship Society
The World/Inferno Friendship Society, a gang of dangerous loonies who like to break things, is coming to your town. Bringing their newest album, “This Packed Funeral” released on California based Alternative Tentacles Records in the band's unique punk rock cabaret style, the ten tracks on the LP feature their signature critically acclaimed romantic tangoing/violent break up inducing mayhem while expanding previously unexplored territory combining contrapuntal fugue, the rhythmic percussion of a New Orleans Funeral March and classic the hardcore punk sounds of Code Of Honor, TSOL and The Damned. Check out the World/Inferno Friendship Society’s Dolce Far Niente lyric video and select tracks off the new album at:

The World/Inferno Friendship Society consist of 7 to 13 members
who enthusiastically delight in encouraging all who identify as youth, both young and old, to change the system. They come
armed with cascading piano, ace saxophones, snarling guitars, low B bass, and whomever else gets in the bus. The World/Inferno Friendship Society is fronted by Jack Terricloth, who had his exploits profiled in the NY Times Arts Section for the multi-media stage version of the group’s record “Addicted to Bad Ideas” [http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/08/arts/music/08worl.html].

WORLD/INFERNO FRIENDSHIP SOCIETY combine their skills to create a style that is equal parts punk, soul, klezmer and jazz, featuring horns, piano, guitar and a lot of boys and girls with
very sharp teeth with a must-see stage charisma rivaling Slim Cessna's Auto Club. The ensemble has over 40 members, Joining Terricloth once more, is co-founding member of this bizarre gang
of dangerous loonies, Scott Hollingsworth, is back and in the producer's/piano stool and will be touring with the band on keys.

The band been making beautiful, orchestral punk rock records since 1995, They originally signed with the eerily prescient NJ Hardcore label Gern Blandsten (Ted Leo, Radio 4, Rorschach, The Liars) with whom they released 2 albums: “The True Story of The Bridgewater Astral League”(1997), “Just The Best Party” (2002) and a gang of singles which were compiled on “East Coast Super Sound Punk of Today!” (2000). They have toured incessantly for the last 20 years, prompting one NPR spokesman to comment that the amount of jobs they have been fired from to go on the road would be “enough to save the present economy”

DOG (Dirty Old Gangsters)
DOG (Dirty Old Gangsters) is an NYC based crunchy, guitar driven, have a good time, in your face hard rock band, fusing elements of Punk, Glam, and Classic Rock, creating a familiar, fun “we don’t take ourselves too seriously attitude” with a classic sound. The musical diversity of DOG’s members is what makes it special:

Lead Singer, Guitarist, and Front Man WASS STEVENS is as an Actor (“Public Morals,” “House of Cards,” “Demolition,” and the upcoming “Patti Cake$” to name but a few) and NYC Nightlife Impresario. He brings an edge, sense of humor, style, and “go f-ck yourself” attitude to the DOG Crew. His tenor range and nasty guitar licks can be compared to an Axle Rose, Slash, Ronnie James Dio, Keith Richards love child. (Now THAT’S a horrible visual…) Wass co-wrote DOG’s first original EP “New York City Hustle” with Alex Valenti.

Bassist ALEX (Alex V) VALENTI has been a musician, producer and sound engineer since the 1985 creation of his first punk band “Noize Police.” In 1986, Alex V was an original founder of Elektra’s Dancehall/Ska/Reggae band “Skadanks,” which has recorded original material, toured with and backed such legendary Reggae artists as Super Cat, Jr. Reid, Terra Fabulous, Das Shiloh, Shinehead, Sister Nancy, Sugar Minott, Jr. Demus, Maxi Priest, Shabba Ranks, and Johnny Osbourne to name a few.

Guitarist JJ SANSAVERINO is signed to Innervision Records, ESP Guitars, and Fuchs Amplifiers, and has been playing, touring, writing and performing in all genres of music for the past 25 years. In addition to DOG, JJ continues to tour worldwide with Reggae legends Maxi Priest, Ky-Mani Marley, and Shaggy, while simultaneously touring to support his 3rd and upcoming Jazz CD “International Groove.”

Keyboardist (producer, and bandleader) RICKY (Ricky T) TEPPERBERG is also one of the founding members of “Skadanks.” He has played and toured extensively for the past 30 years with many of the major reggae and Caribbean artists, including Dennis Brown, Super Cat, Jr. Reid, Sean Paul and Toots Hibbert. He has also been the bandleader for the High Times Cannabis Cup Band for 20 years.

Guitarist MATTY PASTA (we shit you not) adds some grit to the DOG crew, having bashed it out in New York Hardcore music scene since 1998. He has played and toured internationally with several bands over the past 20 years including Skarhead (I Scream Records), Crown of Thornz (Bridge 9), Leeway (Profile Records), and Blackpunk! When not playing his ax extremely loud, Matty is an avid bow hunter.

Drummer MIKE SEVERINO has worked in all genres, including rock n’ roll, jazz, ska, and blues, and has toured with Levon Helm, Tony-O, Ari-Up to name a few. DOG’s resident hipster- he resides in Rockaway(!)- Mikey is the strong silent type.
