Enjoying accolades ranging from the New York Times to Pitchfork, NYC's disco champions are an incredible cast of musicians including founder/producer Eugene Cho, JKriv, Dave Sharma and lead singer Adeline Michèle.

Escort’s long awaited second LP “Animal Nature” is a leap forward from their critically acclaimed debut. “Animal Nature” stays true to the tradition of clubland’s holy trinity – New York, Chicago and Detroit – while staying on the forefront of modern disco and a new era of not-so-underground dance music. In an age where the dance music is over saturated with countless producers churning out an endless stream beats and remixes, Escort stands out, in part, by creating dance music the old fashioned way: with impeccable production, musicianship, and songwriting. Their explosive live performances have cemented their reputation as one of the city's premiere live acts and has enabled them to showcase their unique live dance sound around the globe.

"Animal Nature,” is filled with neon synths and driving beats that range from Giorgio Moroder-dark to Tom Tom Club-bright, while Michèle’s icy vocals echo the best Danceteria-era divas."
– The New York Times, T Magazine

" ...seamless blending of deep house beats and disco glitter, the product of co-founders and producers Eugene Cho and Dan Balis, plus buttery R&B singing by Adeline Michèle"

"Instant-Classic Disco-House Banger"
– NY Magazine, Vulture

" ...strikes the perfect balance between the increasingly mechanistic and the primal urge just under the skin."
– Pitchfork

Body Talk,” has more verve than Studio 54 on a Bicentenial Saturday night with ’70s keys, luxurious strings and synths, handclaps, and Adeline Michèle’s guttural vocals.

“This New York dance orchestra was churning out period-perfect disco homages years before Daft Punk got lucky.
– Rolling Stone
Ava Raiin
Ava Raiin
Ava Raiin's debut album "AVA RAIIN' was released on August 18th and debuted at #9 on the Billboard R&B album sales chart, ranked highly on 4 other Billboard charts and also on iTunes at #6 for R&B and Top 40 for All-Genres. A review of Ava Raiin's album by Solange Knowles' blog Saint Heron described her as an "audio-diva superhero"!

Her summer 2016 single and video ‘Eagle Eye’ received positive reviews from AfroPunk and was named Vimeo ‘Staff Pick’. Shortly after the release, her vocals on Blood Orange’s third album Freetown Sound also received positive reviews and mentions in Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Fader, Crack Magazine and others.

Over the last few years Ava Raiin has shared the stage and or collaborated with Solange Knowles, Blood Orange / Dev Hynes, Carly Rae Jepsen, Melissa Etheridge, The Chainsmokers, Jack Antonoff / BLEACHERS, Chrisette Michele and others. She appears on Blood Orange’s Freetown Sound album and continues to tour with him. She’s also played at SXSW (Austin), Brooklyn Bowl, SoHo House / Everyday People, Pianos & all over the Lower East Side and Brooklyn (NYC).

Born a twin to teen parents in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Ava grew up in school choirs between Minneapolis with their single, working mom and with their dad, a pimp and entrepreneur, in the outskirts of Houston, Texas. After a very unconventional childhood Raiin attended the University of Texas (Austin) and moved to NYC where she collaborated with producers and made her rounds in the artist circuit singing at open mic nights. A series of fateful meetings and introductions led to worldwide touring gigs as a background singer with a range of artists across the spectrum. After gigging for a few years Raiin took a break from music entirely. She took a job as a full-time creative producer at a major apparel hub in NYC, but would eventually give that up to tour with Solange and work on her own music full-time. Through a friend she was introduced to producer David Siskovic, “Sisko”, and they clicked instantly. The two (with support from her best friend, singer/songwriter Sye Elaine Spence and producer/songwriter Robert Maxwell) created a unique and abstract sound that supported Raiin’s poetic lyrics and entrancing vocals.
