Hoodies for the Homeless: A Good Time and a Good Cause Next Tuesday Night at Brooklyn Bowl

Posted on Friday July 17th in

Tavis Sage Eaton is best known as the frontman of local hip-hop act Pushmethod. But “born out of the a lifelong desire to make a measurable difference in the lives of those he’d witnessed struggling to survive on the streets of the city,” he’s the man behind Hoodies for the Homeless, a movement powered by music to inspire the people of our city to help keep the homeless warm. And while it’s most certainly a worthwhile cause, you can be sure it will also be a good time. Pushmethod are joined by harmony-driven folk-rockers Mother Mother (below, doing “Monkey Tree” for 102.1 the Edge), plus rising producer and viral artist NoMbe, and David Correy, voice of the 2014 FIFA World Cup song. So come out to Brooklyn Bowl
next Tuesday night to join in on the fun and lend a hand to a great cause. Please bring a hoodie to donate.
