Our second of three free amazing shows this week, Alberta Cross takes the Bowl by storm tonight at 9pm with local Brooklyn alt-country rockers Phonograph, who open the show at 8pm. As always, doors are at 6pm, with Happy Hour bowling special of 30$/hour until 8pm. See you on the lanes!

Brooklyn Bowl : Rock. And Roll.
(Brooklyn, NY – July 2, 2009) - Brooklyn Bowl, the highly anticipated 16-lane bowling alley, 600-capacity performance venue with food by Blue Ribbon in Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood, is pleased to announce it will be open for business in a soft launch capacity beginning this Tuesday, July 7, at 6:00 p.m.
Operating hours will be scaled back during the soft launch: Sunday, Tuesday – Thursday, 6:00 pm – 2:00 am, and Friday and Saturdays 6:00pm – 4:00am. During this time Brooklyn Bowl will not be open on Mondays, and are serving only to a 21+ crowd. A small snack menu will be served from July 10 through the 20th. On the 21st, an expanded “preview” menu will be presented, with the full menu by Blue Ribbon debuting on August 4th. Live music performances, advance lane reservations, and extended hours (including child-friendly weekend days) will begin in late summer. Brooklyn Bowl is located at 61 Wythe Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211.

Brooklyn Bowl is not yet open. The good news is, we’ve decided on our open date, and it’s very, very close. Hello Rock. And Rollers!
Brooklyn Bowl is not open for business yet, but here in Williamsburg, we couldn’t be more excited to be sharing the first looks at the Brooklyn Bowl website. We’re just getting the site off the ground, so you’ll be able to see it evolve as we roll it out (you really can’t help but make bowling puns) as we build towards the soft launch.
We’ll be announcing the public opening of the soft launch to our mailing list, Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace friends, so if you haven’t signed up yet, do so now to be the first to know when we’re open to the public! Look out for an announcement within the next couple weeks.
The current landing page is our Blog, where you are now. Here we’ll be keeping you up-to-the-minute on all things Brooklyn Bowl, and plenty of shenanigans to boot. Once we’re ready to announce our first shows, we’ll launch our homepage and calendar section.
