Rubblebucket is a nine-piece polyrhythmic dance/rock band led by trumpeter Alex Toth and fronted by the alluring vocals of Kalmia Traver. Comparisons have been drawn to Talking Heads, Fela Kuti, Bjork and James Brown, but Rubblebucket’s afro-beat inspired, trip-rock soul experience is beyond classification.

Insound is throwing a raging party TONIGHT to celebrate a decade being a definitive online source for all things indie rock; vinyl, turntables, band merch, digital music (and, of course, CDs). Since launching way back in 1999, we were the first place online to sell records by bands like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Interpol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and more that made it to the big time. But enough words! Come out and celebrate our 10th birthday with us! We have a line-up of five bands we love and there’s free beer! Thanks for having us around the last 10 years!
