// STEREOGUM PRESENTS: THE GUM BOWL @ BROOKLYN BOWL //

WOODS, EFFI BRIEST, DJ ST. VINCENT

On May 25th, Stereogum put on an event at Brooklyn Bowl called The Gum Bowl, bringing together some of NYC’s finest underground musical and comedic talent for a bowling competition of the ages.  With teams comprised of Tim Harrington of Les Savy Fav, Himanshu Suri of Das Racist, comedian Max Silvestri, and other notable acts, the tournament was a great success as each team rocked their custom made bowling team shirts, courtesy of Stereogum.  Woods, Effi Briest and DJ St. Vincent entertained the audience as they rolled, putting together a night of great music and competition.  If you were able to make it out to the Bowl for this unique event, we want to know what you think!  Send your photos to our FLICKR group, your videos to our Vimeo group, anything that helps show how much fun a Sterogum party at Brooklyn Bowl really is.  If you couldn’t make it, check below for a recap and a few pictures.
