What an unbelievable year 2010 was at Brooklyn Bowl. So amazing, we decided to put a video together to highlight the epicness.
Snoop, Kanye, MIA, Shadow, The Roots, N.E.R.D., Sharon Jones, Solange and B, Ziggy, Robert Randolph, 8 nights of Soulive ie Bowlive, Big Boi, The Disco Biscuits, LTJ Bukem. Dinosaur Jr, Matisyahu, Neon Indian, Q-tip, Tricky, Les Claypool, Galactic, Bill Clinton and countless, countless more graced our stage while the lanes slammed with high rollers and Blue Ribbon fried chicken overflowed from endless red baskets.
From Pitchfork Offline Festivall to the Brooklyn Brewery Local X Local series, Vimeo’s Eye Candy for Strangers to ?uestlove DJing just about every Thursday of the year, legendary Friday nights with Solange–the list of madness never ends!
Just wait till you see what 2011 has in store…
Much Love,
~Team BB

On Monday, September 6, the one and only Antwan Andre Patton, AKA Big Boi, AKA Sir Lucious Left Foot, threw down a most memorable set here at Brooklyn Bowl. The legendary MC, best known as half of the hip-hop duo OutKast, jammed through a set of both old and new songs for a sold out crowd. After opening with OutKast anthems like “Rosa Parks” and “Ms. Jackson,” Big Boi performed tracks off his recent solo album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. Joined by OutKast DJ Cutmaster Swiff, Big Boi brought back to life one of hip-hop’s most acclaimed groups, and proved himself to be an MC to mess with in his own right.
Were you at the show? Post your pictures of the night to our FLICKR group and your videos to our Vimeo group. Show the world what it’s like to get down at Brooklyn Bowl with Sir Lucious. If you couldn’t make it this time around, check out the links below for recaps, photos and videos.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH
// BIG BOI //
We are extremely proud to announce a very special Labor Day event at Brooklyn Bowl with the ATL’s own Big Boi. Outside of his primary roles as André 3000′s partner in OutKast and as one of the central members of the Dungeon Family, Big Boi (born Antwan André Patton) has appeared on tracks by Missy Elliott (“All N My Grill”), Trick Daddy (“In da Wind”), Jay-Z (“Poppin’ Tags”), Killer Mike (“A.D.I.D.A.S.”), Beyoncé (“Hip Hop Star”), Brooke Valentine (“Girlfight”), Sleepy Brown (“Margarita”), and Fantasia (“Hood Boy”). Big Boi recently dropped the hottest hip hop record of the summer, the long-awaited, eclectically absurd “Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty”, and we are very excited to have him grace our stage at the Bowl.
