"If you could distill the feverish intensity of an all-night rager and alchemize it into a musical form, then you'd get a sense of what to expect from Philly-based foursome Nicos Gun...Fusing punk rock energy with a genre-jumping eclectic mix of psych-pop, funk and glam rock, Nicos Gun wants their fans to have fun enjoying their sound." - Relix
"If #sxsw is where the world meets the future, then we'd like to introduce the future to Nicos Gun." - Spinner
"With oodles of talent, an incredible live show and a super-sized love for Prince many things rhythmic, Nicos Gun brings together elements of New Wave with electronic dance music. File under: not afraid to entertain." - Paste Magazine
"Nicos Gun mine the musical territory of electronic dance rock. Though the sound of the band recalls elements of the past, they are a band of the moment. The full-force funk of songs like "Dirty Girl," and "Soldier" bring to mind the R&B music of Prince, with its funky rhythmic bottom and slinky, chicken-scratch guitar riffs. On songs like "Control," the sinewy synthesizer lines drive the beat bring to mind the lock-step electronic grooves of LCD Soundsystem." - WXPN
"Nicos Gun got the crowd energized with their own bounce and raucousness. More streamlined then their tour mates, the Philadelphia based band seesawed between electro-tinged dance floor anthems and Velvet-Underground inspired hazy rockers.... The polish of the dance numbers were dirtied up with a surprisingly non plagiarized rock attitude and the guitar freak outs of lead singer/guitarist Barney Cortez......"

The Click Clack Boom
The Click Clack Boom made their debut on the indie music scene in 2008 at NYC's Terminal 5, where the band performed as part of CMJ's Hilfiger Sessions. Since then, they steadily built their audience with an aggressive schedule that has taken them all over the country and then some.
Throughout three years of evolution, the band has consistently delivered crowd-pleasing, high-energy shows, and maintained the DIY drive that has often taken them from the middle-of-nowhere to the center-of-everything.
The Click Clack Boom draws inspiration from classic 60s pop, the gods of guitar tone and thundering bass, and contemporary influence to create a sound that transcends eras. As exemplified in their song, "ZKBK," which starts with a calypso dance groove, explodes into a wall of sound, then naturally settles again grooving out. The Click Clack Boom has a way of taking you along on their own ride.
In support of Howling (2010), their debut album, The Click Clack Boom embarked on four US tours, including one that spanned three months. Along their travels, The CCB have received praise from such notables as AOL Spinner, Playboy, High Times Magazine, and NBC New York who recently declared them NY Band of the Week. The Click Clack Boom are currently writing a follow-up to their debut album in Brooklyn, NY.
"We're very excited to be creating in such a diverse city. Its definitely having an effect on the new music we're writing and we can't wait to share it with everyone." - Nathaniel Hoho of The Click Clack Boom
In the Spring of 2010 Canon Logic quietly released their first full-length effort, FM Arcade. An eclectic album of powerfully catchy pop songs, FM Arcade is threaded together by an undercurrent of dark tension that bubbles to the surface on stand out tracks like Nights at Armour Mansion and Dead Man. The band - comprised of guitarists Mark Alu and Josh Greenfield, bassist Sean Enright, drummer Zach Jordan, and frontman and principal song-writer Tim Kiely - achieved growing popularity in their native NYC, supporting acts like Oh Land and the Lemonheads, and headlining Bowery Ballroom. They broadened their reach up and down the East Coast on tour, and the songs stretched even further, landing placements on CSI:NY, internet ad campaigns, and on Hollister Co. and affiliated stores’ playlists, nationwide.
In 2011, Canon Logic hooked up with NYC based record label Engine Room Recordings to craft a follow-up to FM Arcade and continue their momentum. The result is Rapid Empire. A five song EP driven by striking rhythms and an unrelenting energy, Rapid Empire offers a glimpse into a sprawling, imaginative dystopia of Tim Kiely’s creation. Themes of fear, solitude, risk, and perseverance are set against each other as a fractured narrative unfolds over dynamic soundscapes. Singularly conceived and focused, Rapid Empire delivers the sound of a young band at their strongest.
