Jahman Brahman
Jahman Brahman
Jahman Brahman is a four-member collaboration originating from Columbus, Ohio in 2005, and currently residing in the mountains of Asheville, NC. The musical intuition of each member overcomes the restrictions of any particular genre as they pioneer the musical trail with a sound completely their own. The name Jahman Brahman emerged from each member's goal to achieve the ultimate state of musical cohesion; each instrument connected to one another to create a piece of music from the heart of one. They've described their particular style as shred 'n' flow, a dynamic sound with a wide breath of influence, but a focus on rich, fluid, progressions of energy
Sprocket
Sprocket
Sprocket was conceived in late 2011. The line-up began as a power-trio, adding piano to the line-up in late 2012. The band began writing and performing in earnest in 2013, releasing their first full album "Tropical Bushwick" in March 2013.

The band's powerful mix of thoughtful songwriting and incendiary improvisation has been featured and reviewed on notable publications such as Jambase, Jambands, Dubera, SensibleReason, and TheBarnPresents...all of which can be found on the band's website, SprocketNYC.com The word has slowly been getting out about the NYC jam scene's best kept secret, as the quartet has grown to headline notable clubs such as The Knitting Factory, Webster Hall Studio, Brooklyn Bowl and Mercury Lounge.
Escaper
Escaper
The literal definition of Escaper is "one who escapes confinement". Founded in 2016, the Brooklyn based Post-Rock/Space-Funk Fusion quintet strive for a sound without limits.
‚Äč

Recently joining the Ropeadope Records roster, Escaper blends soaring melodies provided by Will Hanza (guitars) with funk-laced rhythms laid down by Andrew Nesbitt (drums) and Jay Giacomazzo. Weaving through this sound are the intricate yet lyrical textures of Adam Ahuja (keys) and Johnny Butler (sax). Album was engineered and co-produced by John Davis (Lettuce, Brad Mehldau, Black Keys)

The members are all experienced musicians, working with groups like Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, and even Beyonce. Band members have played everywhere from Bonnaroo, Mountain Jam and Catskill Chill to Brooklyn Bowl and the Blue Note Jazz Club.

Escaper released their debut track "Castles" on December of 2016 and will release a full album in May of this year.
