Roots of Creation
Roots of Creation
Whether on the festival circuit, performing at jam favorites like Gathering of The Vibes, Wakarusa and Closer to the Sun, or sharing the stage at sold out shows with some of their diverse influences including Slightly Stoopid, The Wailers, and Michael Franti, reggae/rock/dubtronica band Roots of Creation (RoC) offer up a high-energy, infectious experience. Recognized as a Top 20 artist on the Relix/Jamband radio chart, a festival staple, and an internationally touring powerhouse, RoC have been awarded “Favorite Jam Band” by Cider Magazine and “Best Band In New Hampshire” by the New England Music Awards. RoC mix their jam-reggae hybrid sound with homegrown roots, guitar-heavy rock, and lead singer/guitarist Brett Wilson’s introspective and conscious laden lyrics. Their biggest project to date, Livin Free, is an 18-track studio LP, complemented by a 3-disc deluxe collection with both dub/remix and acoustic versions, plus limited edition double 12” vinyl. Releasing April 22nd on RoC’s label, Bombshelter Records, with distribution by ILS/Caroline/Universal Music Group, Livin Free features Yeti Beats, Melvin Seals, Ras MG, Rubblebucket, Billy Kottage and more

NONSTOP TO CAIRO
NONSTOP TO CAIRO
Nonstop to Cairo is one of New York’s staple bands. They believe in more than simply pushing an image of Vice and Debauchery, and truly strive for something new. The band has their own unique blend of Ska and Hip-hop that they bring to a dedicated fan base up and down the East Coast and beyond.

Nonstop has had the honor of performing alongside amazing national acts including The Wailers, Dirty Heads, WAR, Ballyhoo, Galactic, The Expendables, Matisyahu, Moe, The Slackers, Fishbone, Redman and many others. The band recorded their first EP with multi-platinum record producer Jim Sabella and had their single, “We Be”, in rotation on Faction 41 – Sirius XM Satellite Radio for over a year. In between tours, they can be found performing locally in NYC and Long Island at The Paramount, The Space, The Gramercy Theatre, The Knitting Factory, The Bitter End, Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall and Revolution Bar & Music Hall.

Nonstop to Cairo is releasing their debut full length album titled DABBLE HEAVY in January 2017. They have already received amazing reviews from the pre-release of this epic LP and can't wait for everyone to share in the movement. Stay tuned.
