Flynt Flossy and Turquoise Jeep
Flynt Flossy and Turquoise Jeep
“Everything is not meant to be understood,” says creator Flynt Flossy. Like many other visionary artists, CEOs Flynt Flossy and Whatchya felt industry boundaries were stifling their creativity. This encouraged them to combine their own talents and sign other like-minded artists to create their own label/ genre of music, EMB (Existing Musical Beings). Turquoise Jeep Records is the definition of complete artistic freedom with no limitations. Their music videos on Youtube directed by filmmaker Flynt Flossy accumulated millions of views and began their international notoriety.
WordSpit and The ILLest
WordSpit began buzzing in the 2009 New York underground music circuit through open mics, solo shows, and random freestyle sessions anywhere people were willing to rap. WordSpit’s dedication to his craft earned him the 2010 Underground Music Award for Most Dynamic Solo Artist, a collabo- ration with The Source Magazine at the 2010 SXSW Music Festival, and also landed him in a highly visible McDonald’s nationwide television and radio campaign as well as a Voice over ad for Reese Puff Cereal..

After seeing how his performances were even more amazing when backed with a live band, WordSpit teamed up with several instrumentalists to form We The ILLest. Since then, this team has attained some amaz- ing accomplishments, including headlining a concert at NYC’s S.O.B.’s Club alongside MTV’s Staying Alive organization alongside Rocawear. WordSpit along with The ILLest became the rst band to be invited to perform at the Rocawear/Artful Dodger showrooms at the RocNation headquarters where Hip-Hop mogul Jay-Z was in attendance. They also were the first band to ever win a performance spot, midway through the competition, for the 2011 Bamboozle Concert at New Mead- owland Stadium where they opened for Lil’ Wayne. Besides being a BET Music Matters artist, We The ILLest , has featured on Fuse TV, , America's Got Talent, Wale's Simply Mobile Tour as they continuing to gain momentum.
