The band consists of four longtime friends: Geoff Weers (Guitar and Vocals), Adam Patterson (Drums and Vocals), Raul Bianchi (Lead Guitar) and Ryan DeMars (Bass). The first seven years of their career was fueled with three full-length, completely independent releases. No Time To Worry (2000), Open Container (2001), and Gettin' Filthy (2004), would bring in a combined total of over 40,000 units sold with no physical distribution and no record label.
Born in the Philippines, raised in Italy and living the biggest and most influential portion of her life in Hawaii, HIRIE considers herself an island girl at heart. The experiences she’s had living on Oahu have taken her on a musical journey worth listening to by all who appreciate her genuine take on love and life.
2013 is the year HIRIE enters the music industry. With sheer determination she aims to deliver music that entertains both reggae and pop lovers alike. Charm, passion for people, positive and uplifting messages, and memorable hooks and melodies are offered for all in her upcoming, self-titled album: HIRIE.
“HIRIE is a lifestyle I want people to love and become accustomed to. The island-way of living is contagious; healing the mind, body and spirit. The same goes for its music. When people hear my songs, I want them to feel disconnected from their troubles. Music that brings you to a positive place: that’s reggae. Music that lifts you to higher space: that’s HIRIE”.
Tribal Theory is bringing that “west coast cool” vibe around the world. Headlining concerts all across Hawaii, the Polynesian Islands, and the tip of Eastern Asia. Over the years, the band has gained the respect of numerous music legends. Performing alongside artists such as Steel Pulse, Barrington Levy, The Wailing Souls, Fiji, SOJA, Collie Buddz, Katchafire, Common Kings, The Green, and J Boog; to name a few.
Recently, Tribal Theory has been taking the Reggae world by storm. Releasing three albums in three years: Cali Love, Hell of A Night, and Tribal Theory(self titled). As well as receiving the "Best World Music Album of Year 2013" at San Diego Music Awards. Winners of Orange County Mai Tai Rumble 2013 and champions of VANS Warped Tour Battle of The Bands 2011.
Tribal Theory, it’s not just music, it's a lifestyle.
