In just over three short years, the pioneering Brooklyn dhol n’ brass party juggernaut RED BARAAT have made a name for themselves as one of the best live bands playing anywhere in the world. Led by dhol player Sunny Jain, the nine piece drumset, percussion, sousaphone, and 5 horns melds the infectious North Indian rhythm Bhangra with a host of sounds, namely funk, go-go, latin, and jazz. Simply put, Sunny Jain and Red Baraat have created and defined a sound entirely their own.

It’s time for s’more EYE CANDY! On November 12th, Eye Candy for Strangers is gearing up for its SEVENTH go-round. This time, we’re really showin ya what we got. We’re bringin’ out the one and only DAEDELUS.
Brooklyn Bowl, Learned Evolution and Vimeo are calling all video artists to submit motion graphic art, animation, short films, music videos, and VJ visuals of ten minutes or less, via the Eye Candy For Strangers Vimeo Group. (SUBMIT YOURS NOW!)
The selected videos will be presented on Brooklyn Bowl’s massive HD projection screens on Nov 12th along with the super special performance.
The selected video will also run regularly at future Brooklyn Bowl events!
