Beginning with the release of their debut album, Dandys Rule OK, more than 20 years ago, the Dandy Warhols (below, performing “Godless” for KEXP FM) have ironically blended genres to create a completely unique style of psych pop. And while the band’s sound has evolved electronically through the decades, infectious melodies and witty lyrics have remained their foundational core. The Portland, Ore., quartet will Come Down (stream it below) to Las Vegas for their first visit since 2010 to play Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on Friday.

Additionally, renowned as a film buff, lead singer Courtney Taylor-Taylor entertains with his oft-snarky One-Sentence Movie Reviews, perfect for the attention-deficit movie fan. Summaries include: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy: “Apparently I wouldn’t make a good spy because I have no idea what just happened.” Enjoy more here.
