Almost 7 years ago, old friends and partners Peter Shapiro and Charlie Ryan opened the doors to Brooklyn Bowl on July 7, 2009. With live music, Blue Ribbon food, and 16 bowling lanes all confined under one roof, it’s safe to say that Brooklyn Bowl is more than your average music venue.  Here are 12 interesting facts that make our slice of music paradise all the better:

 

1.The 23,000-square foot Brooklyn Bowl building dates back to 1882 and was formerly Hecla Iron Works.
